-Networking Coordinator: (Can have an assistant if she chooses) Basically, your job as Networking Coordinator is to speak with professional photographers, wardrobe stylists, hair stylists, retouchers, digital artists ...ect. You are getting the word out to them about RealGirlModels.com. When we start talking about planning events, you will be the one to find the people we need. Social networking sites such as RGM, Model Mayhem, Facebook.
-Media Manager: You are to connect RGM Ithaca Promotional Models and Events to the media. You'll spend a lot of time in the beginning building your reach. I'm going to suggest that after you are chosen for this you should create a page on a social media site and start getting fans, friends, viewers, or followers so they can keep up to date with the local events we will be planning. Basically, anyone within a 100 mile radius of Ithaca or further should be seeing these advertisements. It's going to take a lot of dedication to build the fanbase but it will be necessary for our events to be successful. This could also include talking to people from public radio stations and television stations to bring more attention to our events
-Fundraising/Sponsorship Manager: In order to have events we will need help from other businesses, people or corporations. You'll be speaking with people about RGM events, asking if they would like to make donations to help our events become successful. You can also plan fund raisers with the support of our team.
-Creative Designer: Your job will be to create images, pamphlets, ads ect... basically we are looking for someone with a creative eye for graphic design. If you apply to this, I'd like you to show me some of your work and let me know what you used to make them.
-Production Crew: (Several Openings) Your dedication to modeling and RGM will fuel our events. We need you not only for the shows but for your opinions and ideas. Without the crew, there is no event.
If you apply for any of these positions, you become eligible to be hired through RGM and you are welcome to be in the events we have. As the director, I'm looking for the right people for the job. So if you apply for Creative Designer, don't be discouraged if I ask if you'd be interested in Production Crew or Fundraising. Every position is important to fill for our success!! =]
Rhoma on Friday, 06 April 2012 20:55Find people with an interest in becoming a model. Mostly, talk to some ladies, ask them if they've ever considered a modeling career? Let them know that you can help them start by having them join RGM, if they are local to us have them get ahold of me and I can set them up with a shoot to get them started. Aspiring models will need to start their portfolios, and possibly need some coaching. Experienced models will already have photos to add to the site, if they want coaching or a shoot, I wouldn't mind hooking them up too. =] We just gotta help eachother out.
